Mulching is one method. Land clearing is the whole job, which can mean mulching, brush cutting, grapple cleanup or all three depending on the property.
Do they remove large trees or do grading?
No. They clear saplings, small trees and brush only. Large trees, excavation, engineered grading and pad work go to another contractor, and they tell you that at the quote.
Do they haul everything away?
Mulched material stays on site as ground cover. Debris piles, downed trees and old junk are loaded out with the grapple and hauled off.
How much does land clearing cost?
Land clearing is quoted per job with no price list. As one published example, brush hogging about 0.8 acres of commercial frontage in West Houston took around four hours and came to $800.
How far do they travel?
